About Us

Mike is a 21 year Air Force Veteran with over 30 years of Information Technology / Cybersecurity expertise.  Mike is a graduate of Western Governors University with a BS is Information Technology Security as well as an MBA of Information Technology Management.

His ground-breaking team developed the USAF “Barrier Reef” defense in depth concept introducing the idea of creating Demilitarized Zones (DMZs) within a network.  Also, during his time in Europe, Mike helped champion, design, and implement the USAF first ever Network Security and Operations Center (NOSC) at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.  These principles were adopted USAF wide and eventually by the entire Department of Defense.

Mike is an International Speaker and is honored to be an adjunct professor of Cyber Security for the University of Nevada Las Vegas  and California State University Long Beach online programs.

Mike’s greatest achievement is his family with wife Kathryn and his children Andrew and Kassandra.

Howard is the President of Digital Beachhead, Inc with responsibility for the companies operations in the US and Canada. He previously was the Vice President of Enterprise IT Services at CRGT where he ran a $60M/year business with a variety of customers across the Federal space operating in seven different countries. 

 Prior to this role he held a variety of business development positions at CRGT and as a Director and VP of Business Development at CiBER Federal, Inc prior to it’s merger with CRGT.

 Before CRGT & CiBER Federal, he held a variety of challenging program management positions with Boeing, L-3 Communications, and Computer Sciences Corporation. 

Howard is a seven year veteran of the US Navy and has 15 years of Federal Service. 

Helen is the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance for Digital Beachhead providing cyber compliance audits, policy development,  and cyber awareness training.

Helen worked as a senior electrical engineer for twelve years designing software/hardware for continuous monitoring systems.  She gained experience in sales and customer relations working in various positions prior to joining Digital Beachhead. 

She transitioned to cybersecurity to join the fight against cyber-attacks and help companies with compliance and necessary policies.

 She holds a Master of Science in EE, Master in Management Information System and an MBA from UNLV.  In her spare time, Helen enjoys playing golf and traveling. She is fluent in French and Persian and conversant in Spanish. 

Dr. Angela Workman joined Digital Beachhead Canada at its inception as the Senior Advisor for Medical Services in 2021. She is a native of Kenya who emigrated to Canada in 1990. She became an RN in 2006, working in a variety of positions in Ontario before attending and graduating from the Physician Assistant program at McMaster University in 2012. 

In 2016 she began her journey to be a physician, graduating in March 2020 and finishing the Western University Resident program in June 2022. 

She is currently practicing in SW Ontario. Dr. Workman brings a wealth of medical knowledge and insight to DBH assisting in the company’s strategic vision of providing cyber security awareness and advisory service to the med-tech industry of Ontario.

Alisha started working with Digital Beachhead as an Intern and has now taken on the role of Security Operations Center management.   Working with our partner Shark Striker Alisha maintains a watchful eye over our clients end points. 

As an avid cybersecurity learner she contributes to our weekly cyber bytes providing invaluable insights into the current threats, trends and cyber risks all businesses are facing.  

Alisha as a BS in Computer Science with a focus on cybersecurity.   Her passion is to help those small to medium sizes businesses find affordable methods to secure themselves from the online threats they face.  

She has five amazing dogs that take a lot of her time away from work and a loving wife who is the rock behind it all.   

Kate is the Administration Manager for Digital Beachhead bringing over nine years of administration and management experience to the team.

Kate was a surgical technician for over ten years working for Cell Saver and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children prior to transitioning to the world of administration, sales and marketing. 

She enjoys the challenges of the cybersecurity workspace and putting together the puzzle pieces of cyber crime and breaches.  Kate believes Small to Mid Size Businesses need to incorporate more cyber risk management into their business plans to protect against those looking to disrupt your organizations operations.

Kate attended Harris School of Business earning her Certificate of Surgical Technology and continues her education in cybersecurity via online educational courses.

Cashew is a rescued Cockatiel who was at first afraid of her "human" colleagues.   She has since settled in and is often offering her communications during calls.

Cashew spends most of her day in the office moving from perch to perch often reviewing emails as shown above.

She enjoys snacks of millet and nuts and loves light rubs on her head.  

If you have taken a call with our CEO then more than likely you have heard Cashew in the background chirping away.

Solina is a  rescue Chihuahua and our nugget of joy.   She has been providing the needed morale boosts in the office for over three years now and continues to demand cuddle breaks throughout the day.

Solina enjoys a very oversized bed within the office or simply laying on the desk as work takes place.  

She enjoys snacks, belly rubs and any sort of attention that she can receive.   Her favorite toy, aka her best friend, is her little blue ball that she takes with her most places. 

Sarge is the latest addition to the DBH team.  He is a pure breed Chocolate Labrador Retriever who believes he is the same size as our little nugget Solina.

Sarge provides the deep loud barks when needed to maintain our perimiter security but in person is the most friendly doggo!

He enjoys treats and LOVES to chew on toys and anything else he may find.  He is growing fast and loves his little "Big" sister.
